Inspired by the golden era of Thailand's capital in 1978, Bangkok’78 is a retro-style Thai restaurant in Bangkok celebrating authentic Thai cuisine. Sits inside Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection by IHG on Langsuan Road on the 2nd floor, the hotel is bringing that era back through its food.

The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Golf, a Top 10 finalist on Top Chef Thailand 2023. Her team works in close collaboration with Saneh Jaan, a Michelin-starred Thai restaurant, to reconstruct traditional recipes that have largely disappeared from modern menus. Dishes like Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, Khao Soi, and Mango Sticky Rice are prepared with fresh locally sourced ingredients and the techniques that originally defined them.

With a focus on traditional and vegetarian dishes, our casual local restaurant is ideal for everyday meals, family gatherings, and private events in Bangkok, all set within a charming retro-inspired ambiance that celebrates the character and warmth of the 1970s.
