Textile Masterpiece by Kachama Perez

Acquired advanced dying and weaving skills during time spent in the mountains of Northern Thailand with the Karen tribe, Kachama Perez, a world-renowned weaving artist from Chiang Mai, created an incredible textile masterpiece by weaving shiny strands of recycled aluminum between indigo threads. Prominently showcased at the front office area of Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection by IHG, this masterpiece depicts the negative human impacts on marine life and encourages dialogue on ocean conservation.

Bangkok Tram by P49 Deesign

Utilizing the story of the Bangkok tram system’s Silom Line that ran past Ratchadamri Road during the 1920s to 1968 near Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection by IHG, P49 Deesign created the art piece to symbolize the Bangkok tram tracks from bygone days with dark metal covering the hotel’s lobby area.
