Textile Masterpiece by Kachama Perez

Acquired advanced dying and weaving skills during time spent in the mountains of Northern Thailand with the Karen tribe, Kachama Perez, a world-renowned weaving artist from Chiang Mai, created an incredible textile masterpiece by weaving shiny strands of recycled aluminum between indigo threads. Prominently showcased at the front office area of Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection, an IHG Hotel, this masterpiece depicts the negative human impacts on marine life and encourages dialogue on ocean conservation.

Siam Fighting Fish by Visarute Angkatavanich

Placed in the middle of the hallway on every floor of Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection, an IHG Hotel, these stunning portraits of bright, colorful Siam Fighting Fish were taken by Visarute Angkatavanich, a Bangkok-based fine art photographer known for his famous work of Siam Fighting Fish photographs featured on Apple iPhone 6s wallpaper in 2015.

Fritz Hansen Drop™ Chair by Arne Jacobsen

Designed by Arne Jacobsen, a world-famous Danish architect and furniture designer in 1958, Fritz Hansen Drop™ Chair creates a unique sense of comfort with a smoothly curved and drop-shaped backrest inspired by the feeling of a warm embrace. This eye-catching and classic chair said to be Jacobsen’s favorite among his many designs is stylishly equipped in our luxurious rooms & suites at Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection, an IHG Hotel.

Bangkok Tram by P49 Deesign

Utilizing the story of the Bangkok tram system’s Silom Line that ran past Ratchadamri Road during the 1920s to 1968 near Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection, an IHG Hotel, P49 Deesign created the art piece to symbolize the Bangkok tram tracks from bygone days with dark metal covering the hotel’s lobby area.
